Larkin Hammond, Mark Hammond, and Bob Munnich attended the Certified Angus Beef Annual Conference in Tuscon, Arizona, this past weekend and during the award banquet culminating the event received the Certified Angus Beef award for Best Speciality Restaurants. The award signifies the commitment at Larkin’s restaurants and Grill Marks to serve only the finest beef available.

After attending the conference last year in San Antonio, Texas, Larkin set a goal for the restaurants stating, “We are winning that award next year.”

All of Larkin’s Restaurants including Larkin’s on the River, Larkin’s on the Lake, Larkin’s Carolina Grill and both Grill Marks use only the best Certified Angus Beef brand beef on all of their menus. Larkin’s chefs collaborated with the CAB brand’s culinary team at the Education & Culinary Center in Wooster, Ohio, to introduce new items on the menu including dry-aged steaks from DeBragga, New York’s Butcher. Larkin’s on the River also hosted a Bourbon & Beef dinner with local CAB ranchers Kevin and Lydia Yon from Ridge Spring, SC highlighting the quality of local farm raised items in their restaurants. The Grill Marks signature CAB blend burgers have also received acclaim in Southern Living and Garden & Gun magazines.
