Two iconic Boston restaurants, the Abe & Louie’s steakhouse and popular Atlantic Fish Co., both on Boylston Street, will reopen for business on Saturday after a 12–day closure following the Boston Marathon explosions.
“We are looking forward to welcoming back our community,” said Bryan Lockwood, CEO for parent company Tavistock Restaurants. “We really are like a family and we can’t wait to get back to doing what we do best—hospitality.”
The City of Boston allowed business owners on Boylston St. back into their properties on Wednesday and the restaurants spent the last few days repairing, prepping, and cleaning the restaurants.
“We serve only the freshest food, and we want the restaurants to be perfect for our guests, so we’ve restocked the kitchens and the bars so that everything is fresh when we reopen,” says COO Bill Bartlett.
Both restaurants are located in Boston’s Back Bay. Atlantic Fish Company is at 761 Boylston Street and Abe & Louie’s is located at 793 Boylston Street.
