Throughout the month of January, Eschelon Experiences restaurants partnered with Hope for Haiti Foundation during the company’s first Month of Giving campaign of the year.

Guests dining at Mura @ North Hills, The Oxford, Zinda New Asian, Cameron Bar & Grill, and Faire Steak & Seafood were encouraged to donate by adding $1 or more to their bill at the end of their meal. By month’s end, Eschelon restaurants raised $2,127, which was matched by a $1,000 donation from Mako Medical Laboratories for a total of $3,127.

The Month of Giving campaign is one way Eschelon raises funds and awareness for their core nonprofit partners which include: Raleigh City Farm, Tammy Lynn Center, Hope for Haiti Foundation, and Band Together. Every quarter, the restaurant group highlights one of their partners through print materials and online support, urging the local community to take action and help in a simple way.

Mako has committed to match donations at Eschelon’s six restaurants up to $1,000 this first month and up to $2,500 throughout the rest of the year.

After a very successful 2014 Month of Giving campaign, Eschelon has set even higher goals for 2015. Last year, the restaurants set a new Month of Giving record of $3,414 in October, with a yearly total of $8,077 and 100 percent of proceeds directly benefiting Eschelon’s four nonprofit partners.
