Wild Wing Cafe announced the reopening of its Jacksonville, Florida, restaurant. The Jacksonville store will be the first corporate-owned location to open in the last 10 years.

The restaurant is opening at its original location of 4555 Southside Blvd. The location and several staff members are carrying over from the previous Jacksonville restaurant. However, this is largely a brand-new Wild Wing Cafe for the Jacksonville area.

Wild Wing Cafe is a rapidly growing company that brings together a menu of fresh, made-from-scratch wings and homemade sauces, grass-fed 100 percent Angus chuck burgers, salads, and great appetizers. The full-service restaurant also promotes live and local entertainment.

Tom Lewison, Wild Wing Cafe’s chief executive officer, says, “There are 39 company-owned and franchised Wild Wing Café restaurants across seven Southeastern states. This will be the return of a beloved and greatly missed location. Jacksonville’s enthusiastic sports community and thriving live and local music scene aligns perfectly with the interests of our guests and the need for a full service restaurant offering more than just great food. We are excited to bring this growing brand back to the Florida market.”

To commemorate the occasion, Wild Wing Cafe is holding a grand opening party the weekend of August 26. The celebration will feature live music all weekend long, beginning with a special Acoustic Happy Hour on Friday at 6 p.m. and continuing with performances by area favorites including Big Engine, Lunar Coast Trio, The Crazy Daysies, Fratello, and SideReal. In addition to live music, there will be beer trucks, games, a KidZone with a bounce house, and the “Hot Wings, Cold Beer, and Good Times” Wild Wing Cafe is known for.
