The Woodruff Arts Center’s Twelve Eighty—Inspired Dining restaurant, in partnership with Sterling Spoon Culinary Management, unveiled a new look and feel for the lounge with enhancements that include new menu options, furniture, and logo design.

Twelve Eighty—Inspired Dining’s new positioning as “Inspired Dining,” reflects its location tie to The Woodruff Arts Center and its creative passion for artfully prepared, chef-driven global cuisine, as well as hand-crafted cocktails with southern flair.

Twelve Eighty—Inspired Dining was rebranded in order to more accurately represent a dining experience that is fresh, inventive and casual, without compromising the cultural roots of The Woodruff Arts Center. Simple, yet sophisticated, interior design choices were inspired by the idea of light—a central theme throughout the restaurant.

“We are always working to improve all aspects of our patrons’ experience at The Woodruff Arts Center,” says Virginia Hepner, president and chief executive officer of The Woodruff Arts Center. “With the changes at Twelve Eighty, we’re offering a wonderful new dining experience for our guests to enjoy.”

“The new look and feel of the restaurant creates a memorable experience which will offer guests affordable luxury in the cultural center of Atlanta,” adds John C. Metz Jr., executive chef and CEO of Sterling Spoon Culinary Management. “Our guests expect world class, so we wanted to make sure the atmosphere and menu of Twelve Eighty—Inspired Dining reflected a refined yet warm and welcoming experience."

Twelve Eighty—Inspired Dining is open to the public in addition to Woodruff Arts Center patrons. Guests will find a variety of farm-to-fork dining options, highlighted by changing seasonal specials. Menu options include “Crisp Cool” salads and soups, “Midtown Favorite” entrees, “Big Sandwiches” and “Stage Left” sides. Adult beverages at Twelve Eighty—Inspired Dining include wines by the glass in several varietals, handcrafted cocktails and ice-cold bottled beer. The entire menu is listed at twelveeightyrestaurant.com. In addition to Twelve Eighty—Inspired Dining, Sterling Spoon also operates High Café, CJ’s Cart, the Inspired Lobby Bars, and catering opportunities, all within The Woodruff Arts Center.
