Apple Texas Restaurants, Inc. is giving residents of Saginaw, Texas, a brighter outlook for the New Year with the grand opening this month of a new Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar Restaurant.
The parent company hired local construction crews to build the new restaurant and already has in place a talented local management team to oversee operations of the Saginaw Applebee’s.
In addition, it has hired 110 employees for the new location, providing a boon to the local economy.
The population of Saginaw grew more than 60% between 2000 and 2010, and the city currently has 19,870 residents, according to the North Central Texas Council of Governments.
The Saginaw restaurant was built from the ground up, according to a management spokesperson for Apple Texas Restaurants, with a new décor and design concept for the Applebee’s brand, including new colors and lighting fixtures, and a more open bar and patio. The restaurant also features wall art about the City of Saginaw.
“We are delighted to provide a welcoming place for families to enjoy great food and beverages, and we look forward to becoming actively involved in the Saginaw community,” says an Applebees spokesperson.
Besides offering affordable American fare, including steaks, chicken, seafood, and pastas, the restaurant features the first bar in Saginaw. The beverage menu includes a selection of draft and bottled domestic and imported beers, as well as popular cocktails, such as martinis, margaritas, and flavored mojitos.
The new Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar is located at 945 N Saginaw Blvd., Saginaw, TX 76179. The restaurant is open Sunday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Apple Texas Restaurants, Inc. is a division of SSCP Management, Inc., a privately held Dallas-based firm that currently owns and operates 43 Applebee’s restaurants throughout Texas, as well as several shopping centers, office buildings, and other commercial real estate properties.
