In an innovative bid to raise awareness about childhood hunger in America, Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign is embarking on an impactful one-day social media campaign rallying advocates to make a difference simply by dining out. The goal is to reach 16 million people in one day in honor of the 16 million kids in America struggling with hunger.

On Monday, September 16, join the No Kid Hungry movement on Twitter by using the hashtag #nokidhungry, and spread the word about how you can dine out this month and help make No Kid Hungry a reality. No Kid Hungry will also be active on Facebook this week with more information on how the public can dine out for No Kid Hungry.

Notable participants from the 2012 twEAT OUT included Kevin Bacon, Cory Booker, Bryan Voltaggio, and Amandla Stenberg.

Now in its third year, the all-day online conversation aims to spread the word that restaurants in every state are teaming up with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign all month to help end childhood hunger in America.  People can dine out at participating restaurants and take advantage of valuable promotions, coupons, and rewards in return for doing their part in the fight against childhood hunger.  Patrons can find participating restaurants matching all cuisines and budgets in all 50 states at NoKidHungry.org.
