On Tuesday, Jan. 8, Villa Enterprises Management Ltd., Inc., a global multi-concept restaurant operator, presented a check in the amount of $32,500 to The Rippel Breast Center in the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Morristown Memorial Hospital.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this past October Villa Enterprises hosted its 11th Annual Charity Event with Scotto Properties at The Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Pa. The Texas Hold Em’ Tournament hosted more than 75 poker players – including Villa Enterprises employees, family, friends and vendors – from around the world. Additional support was received from the more than 100 guests that attended the cocktail party and dinner following the tournament, which honored breast cancer survivors from the Rippel Breast Center.

“Breast cancer has touched my family and many others, and we wanted to show our support to an organization that has helped so many in our local community,” explains Anthony Scotto, CEO of Villa Enterprises. “The poker tournament was a great way to bring our friends, family and others together to celebrate the amazing things The Rippel Breast Center is doing, and honor and support the survivors and those still fighting the battle against breast cancer.”

Each year, Villa Enterprises Management partners with Scotto Properties to host its annual charity event benefiting various organizations in the local community and this year marked the first charity poker tournament held at Sands Casino Resort. Villa Enterprises operates the Cobalt Café as well as the entire food court at the casino which features seven restaurant concepts, including: Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf’s, Bananas, Casa Java, Mo’ Burger, Far East, and South Philly Steak & Fries.
