Pino Gelato has opened three new locations in the Tampa Airport. In the main terminal, the Landside Building, the pre-security Pino Gelato is located next to Carraba's Italian Grill. After passing through security, travelers can visit Pino Gelato in Airside C next to Nathan's or Airside E next to Da Vinci's Cafe. The new Tampa Airport locations are in full operation under general manager Tim Juul and assistant general manager Perry Karnias. Each of the three locations in the Tampa Airport rotates 60 flavors with a 12-flavor display case.
Pino Gelato will become an increasingly familiar site to travelers. "Scoop some happiness" is the promise of Pino Gelato implemented in all existing locations including Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Savannah Hilton Head Airport. Dominic Leong, director of operation and strategic management for Pino Gelato, has plans with HMS Host for further expansion in airports with Hartsfield—Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport opening locations in the next few months.
