With the recent launch of Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar restaurant in Times Square, Heartland Brewery, the largest urban group of brewpubs based in New York, has introduced a new on-hold messaging campaign featuring Guy Fieri. Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar is utilizing this personalized, on-hold messaging solution produced by Spectrio, a provider of audio messaging, for inbound callers. This marks continued growth between Heartland Brewery and Spectrio. Spectrio creates and produces all the on-hold marketing messages for all of Heartland Brewery’s eight locations and has been doing so since 1998.

As part of this agreement, Spectrio produced the audio recording and remotely downloaded the on-hold messages to its equipment located at Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar. Spectrio will update the audio and change messaging to coincide with the restaurant’s marketing objectives.
“This program will connect Guy’s voice through our on-hold messaging system and the restaurant’s telephone system, supplying callers with key information in a personalized and enticing manner,” says Aaron Kleinhandler, principal & CEO of Spectrio. “Spectrio is glad to continue its relationship with Heartland Brewery to give voice to Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar.”

“Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar embodies everything that is Guy Fieri, a big restaurant with big food, big taste and Guy’s signature style incorporated in the interior,” says Jon Bloostein, owner of Heartland Brewery. “That said, when people call up Guy’s to learn more about the restaurant, it is only fitting that the on-hold voice they hear is from the man himself. Working with Spectrio has helped make this possible and we look forward to continuing our work with them in the near future.”

Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Spectrio provides audio and video-based solutions to help clients deliver effective marketing messaging to their customers. The company creates and delivers a variety of multimedia marketing solutions, including: producing and recording on-hold telephone messages, IVR prompts and automated attendant greetings; digital signage solutions for waiting areas, retail spaces and interactive kiosk applications; public space music and location specific “storecast” messaging; multimedia enhancements for the Web, and custom video applications.
