Monday, Feb. 27, Hooters of America will reveal a new generation Hooters for the company, featuring the latest menu and design elements.

Located in the hometown of Hooters headquarters, the downtown Atlanta store is a look into the future of the brand under the new leadership team at Hooters of America.

The grand re-opening celebration and ribbon cutting will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Hooters of downtown Atlanta at 209 Peachtree St.

"Atlanta is home to a number of great, global brands and with restaurants in 28 countries and growing, Hooters is proud to be counted among them," says Terry Marks, president and CEO for Hooters of America. "Still, there is no place like home, and in Atlanta there will be no place like our downtown Hooters location for great food and great fun."

The newly renovated store is double the size of the original model at 8268 square feet with seating for more than 340 guests.

The restaurant features more than 50 Hi-Def flat screen TVs, 32 tap handles, and an indoor/outdoor bar. The store offers the city's only street level patio seating downtown and a private dining room that is available for private functions. Hooters of downtown Atlanta originally opened March 27, 2002.

Hooters of Downtown will serve as a national test store for new menu items and product development.
