First Watch, the daytime-only breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant concept, was recently awarded Best Brunch by reader’s choice in the Orlando Sentinel 14th annual Foodie Awards and was also listed as Best Brunches in Town–after less than one year in business–by Nashville Lifestyles Magazine.

There are six First Watch locations in the Orlando area and one Nashville location, which opened fall 2011.

A recipient of more than 200 Best Breakfast and Best Brunch accolades nationwide, First Watch offers traditional favorites from omelets, pancakes, sandwiches, and salads, to unique specialty items like the fan-favorite Chickichanga and Fresh Fruit Crepes.

The daytime café has won Best Brunchin Florida Monthly Magazine, Creative Loafing Reader’s Poll (2010), Sarasota Magazine (2010), Bradenton Herald Reader’s Choice (2009), Gulfshore Life (2009-2010), Orlando Magazine (2010-2011), Orlando Sentinel (2010), City Beat Cincinnati (2009-2010), Cleveland Magazine (2011), Riverfront Times (2009-2010), The Pitch (2008-2010), Great Tulsa Reporting Newspapers (2011), and more.

For almost 30 years, First Watch has specialized in award winning, made-to-order breakfast, brunch, and lunch creations using only the freshest ingredients. Headquartered in Bradenton, Florida, the restaurant currently employs more than 2,500 people in more than 90 existing restaurants in 13 states.

First Watch recently opened new restaurants in Oklahoma City, Milwaukee, and Nashville, Tennessee. The café is expected to grow to 115 restaurants by the end of 2012. Each restaurant will employ approximately 25 people. All First Watch restaurants are open daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
