Jet’s Pizza, the Sterling Heights, Michigan-based chain with more than 200 units, announced this week that the company has approved the SpeedLine point of sale software for use in its company-owned restaurants and franchise locations.

“Point of sale selection is a strategic factor in our plans to grow Jet’s Pizzato 300 locations,” says Jet’s co-founder and vice president of marketing John Jetts.

“In our stores running SpeedLine, delivery times are significantly shorter, and order entry is faster,” Jetts explains. “The seamless online ordering integration between SpeedLine, the Jet’s web site, and our restaurants is driving revenue. Since the integration, delivery has increased from 40 to 60 percent of sales, and our average delivery ticket is up from $7 to $9 for online orders.”

Among the key considerations in approving the SpeedLine POSfor Jet’s locations were tools to manage delivery efficiency, seamless web ordering integration, and PCI compliance.

“SpeedLine has come through, with every capability we were looking for,” Jetts says. “The reporting is fantastic, and the franchisees LOVE the fingerprint security. SpeedLine support has been great to work with too, fixing any issue immediately.”

“Jet’s Pizza is a growing leader in the pizza industry,” SpeedLine President John de Wolde says. “We are honored to be allied with them. We look forward to helping them to accelerate their growth.”
