Island Burgers & Shakes, the popular 15-year-old burger restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City, has signed a lease for its second Manhattan location on the Upper West Side.
Island Burgers & Shakes will occupy 700 square feet of ground floor space, as well as a 500 square foot basement, when it opens later this year.
“Char-broiled, steakhouse-style burgers, decadent milkshakes and an incredible selection of toppings, is what has made Hell's Kitchen's Island Burgers & Shakes famous and successful for the last 15 years,” says Mark Calvino, founding member/owner of Island Burgers & Shakes.
The restaurant offers an extensive menu of 64 different hand-formed burgers and chicken churrascos, along with 24 craft beers and a selection of milkshakes.
“By the end of spring, denizens of the Upper West Side will share the unique quality of tastes experienced by thousands of satisfied New Yorkers, as well as travelers from all parts of the globe.”
