Three of Coastal Hotel Group’s restaurants have been voted onto the 2011 OpenTable Diners’ Choice lists: Copperleaf Restaurant in Seattle, H5O bistro & barin Portland, Oregon, and Lodge on the Desert in Tucson, Arizona.

The OpenTable Diners’ Choice winners are selected based on diner feedback through a unique system that ensures restaurant ratings are:

  • Qualified—only those with a “seated” reservation can submit feedback for that restaurant
  • Unbiased—the large volume of responses means that ratings are not skewed by extremes
  • Fresh—lists are updated continually based on recent feedback.

Copperleaf Restaurant received four awards including Best Food, Best Service, Best Ambiance and Best Overall. H5O bistro & barwas recognized for its Scenic View for the second year in a row, and was also designated Best American Restaurant in Portland. Lodge on the Desert was awarded Best Food and Neighborhood Gem.

“It is an honor when our guests take the time to share their feedback with OpenTable for other diners to review,” said Yogi Hutsen, president and CEO of Coastal Hotel Group. “All guest feedback is carefully considered. That the efforts to make our restaurants memorable are acknowledged is very gratifying.”

In addition to the OpenTable honors, Copperleaf Restaurant was recently named Seattle Magazine’s Best New Restaurant to open in 2010 in the Readers’ Choice Awards, and was also acknowledged as one of the 2011 Top 10 Best New Restaurants in the U.S. by Gayot.
