WHAT: The Taste of Summer BBQ menu is a limited-time partnership between two beloved names in the Detroit culinary scene, Buddy’s Pizza and Slows Bar BQ. Available now at all Buddy’s Pizza locations, customers can experience a taste of Slows famous BBQ, combined with the renowned, original Detroit-style pizza, in two flavors – the Yardbird Pizza and the BBQ Brisket Pizza.
It’s Buddy’s Pizza meets Slows award-winning Yardbird Sandwich in the Yardbird Pizza. Made with smoked Amish pulled chicken, sautéed mushrooms and cheddar cheese, tossed in Slows whole grain honey mustard BBQ sauce; topped with bacon and finished with a drizzle of Slows apple BBQ sauce.
The combination behind the BBQ Brisket Pizza is Buddy’s classic crust topped with Wisconsin brick cheese, Slows smoked beef brisket and onion. It’s drizzled with Slows tangy Mary Ann BBQ sauce and finished with freshly-chopped pickles.
At Buddy’s Pizza full-service locations, customers also can choose from additional dine-in Taste of Summer BBQ menu items, including Slows Chili Cheese Fries, and two seasonal, Detroit-inspired cocktails, the Vernors Ginger Mule and Vernors Ginger Lemonade (21 and up).
