Well-known Washington, D.C., restaurant group Chef Geoff’s has teamed with leading U.S. concessionaire Concessions International (CI) to open Chef Geoff’s in Washington Dulles International Airport.

The restaurant is located in Concourse C near gate C14.

The airport location is a joint venture between Concessions International and Patricia Reilly Food Concepts (PRFC), a woman-owned Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) partner based in Potomac, Maryland, operating in airports since 1987. This is the first partnership for CI and PRFC.

The opening also marks the first Chef Geoff’s airport location for his restaurant group, which already has five successful locations in the D.C. metropolitan area. Founded by Chef Geoff Tracy, Chef Geoff’s first restaurant opened in 2000.

“Chef Geoff’s offers great food, a great bar, and a great atmosphere for airport travelers to enjoy while moving through Dulles Airport,” says Donata Russell Major, CI’s CEO. “We love the concept and think it’s a great addition to our Washington, D.C., airport portfolio, which we have recently expanded into this year.”

The restaurant will offer a casual dining restaurant with a full bar, along with a selection of grab-and-go items for rushed airport travelers. The menu will feature classic Chef Geoff dishes including the White Truffle Popcorn, Big Shrimp and Very Gouda Grits, Blackened Fish Tacos as well as the popular Chef Geoff Burger. And yes, there will be Supermugs.

“As a restaurateur I’m always looking for new challenges and other avenues to reach more restaurant guests,” says Chef Tracy. “Opening a location in Dulles Airport is the opportunity of a lifetime and is a perfect way to introduce travelers from all around the world to our menu.”

This will be CI’s fourth opening for 2015 and the sixth restaurant to open in a Washington, D.C., airport for the company, having already opened Bar Symon, Taylor Gourmet, Be Right Burger, American Tap Room, and DC Craft Brews.
