With fall and football season just around the corner, Farmland Foodservice is offering foodservice operators a chance to capture customers with game-day grilling on the mind. The pork product provider has teamed up with Boulevard Brewing Co. and created a tasty line of Boulevard Bratwurst, available now to foodservice operators so they can bring the tailgate right to the customer.

The partnership was natural for the two Kansas City brands, combining Farmland’s high quality pork and two of Boulevard Brewing Co.’s most popular craft brews. The USDA-inspected cuts of domestic pork, which contain natural antioxidants and no MSG, are infused with the refreshing beer flavors of Unfiltered Wheat and Pale Ale.

“Beer Brats are a classic, almost nostalgic, kind of food – something that people crave during this time of year,” says Chad Nicholson, vice president of brand management for Farmland Foods. “We’re always trying to provide operators with the next big thing in pork, and these beer brats are a perfect complement to any menu.”

The brats come fully cooked and allow for quick preparation and less waste. The tender, high-quality brats have an authentic craft-like appeal, and allow for versatility in meal preparation. Operators can serve them right off the grill with a bun for a game-day meal, or chop them into one-inch pieces for a tasty appetizer alongside signature flavor dipping sauces.
