Louisville, Kentucky-based beverage developer Flavorman will offer a one-of-a-kind Beverage Bootcamp Friday, Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for entrepreneurs interested in breaking into the beverage industry.

During the one-day class, students will study the ins and outs of creating non-alcoholic and alcoholic commercial beverages through tastings, ingredient interaction demonstrations, expert presentations, and a tour of the Flavorman Beverage Campus including beverage lab, blending operation, bottling line and distillery.

The cost is $199 per person, which includes breakfast and lunch.

“Startup companies make thousands of decisions in building a brand and it can be overwhelming,” says owner David Dafoe. “This class will provide them with a strong foundation to be successful in the competitive beverage industry.”

Through the past 22 years in the drinks business, Dafoe and the Flavorman team of beverage architects have guided hundreds of brands through the difficulties of entering the highly-saturated beverage market. Attendees at the Beverage Bootcamp will learn the process of developing a formulation, planning their route to market, budgeting the costs, choosing a manufacturer, recognizing best business practices, testing products for quality and acquiring all regulatory paperwork.

At the end of the day, they will be armed with all they need to make smart choices toward starting their own brand and bringing it to consumers.
