A popular restaurant based in Norfolk, Virginia, the Brick Anchor Brew House, was inspired by the brick building and Navy presence in the city while paying homage to the Anchor Bar of Buffalo, New York, hometown of Owner Phil Smith.

Working with Meyda Custom Lighting and Interior Designer Rebecca Larys, four Paloma Golpe Chandel-Airs were engineered with six downlights, six inner lights, and six uplights, were specified to dim to the mood, time of day and customer desires. The Chandel-Airs provide enough illumination for the 3,000 square foot-space with 20-foot ceilings while keeping it cool or warm depending on the season.

“Meyda’s superlative service, combined with the great look and high performance lighting,” Smith says. "Resulted in a much greater experience than I could ever have imagined.

The customized 48-inch wide Paloma Golpe Chandel-Air combines styling with engineering innovation. Designed with a caged frame and mesh featured in a Steel finish, this energy-saving Chandel-Air creates a windchill to keep the space cool in the summer, and is reversed in the winter to push down hot air and maintain warmth.
