The Boundary, a favorite neighborhood bar & grill in Chicago’s Wicker Park, announced a complete renovation to reimagine its sports viewing and dining experience. Beginning at midnight on February 28, The Boundary will be closed to the public, and will reopen at 11 a.m. on March 11.

The remodel includes replacing all booths with rolling high-top tables for customizable seating, and removing the woodwork along the west wall and exposing the original brick. The restaurant is installing massive quad screens on either side of the fireplace with additional screens flanking the quads. Six TV’s hang from the ceiling throughout the middle of the bar for optimal viewing, no matter where guests are sitting.

After opening numerous Old Town Pour Houses, Howells & Hood, and their newest concept coming soon to Minneapolis, City Works, Bottleneck Management felt it was time to revamp their original home. “We’ve gained an understanding about what creates a vibrant atmosphere for our guests through great food, delicious beer, and an unparalleled audio/visual system,” says Bottleneck owner and CEO Chris Bisaillon. “It’s time to take everything we’ve learned and bring it back to where we started in Wicker Park.”
