Cameron Mitchell Restaurants has announced Zachary Montgomery as general manager of Ocean Prime Atlanta, the restaurant group’s modern American supper club concept located in the heart of Buckhead.
“Zach is dedicated to our company’s philosophy of delivering an extraordinary dining experience to our guests,” says restaurateur Cameron Mitchell. “We are excited to welcome him to the South and eager to watch him flourish as he leads the Atlanta team.”
An associate of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants for seven years, Montgomery previously spent nearly two years as general manager at Ocean Prime in Denver, as well as time as assistant general manager at the restaurants in Dallas and Tampa, Florida, where he also served as head of the beverage program. Montgomery originally began working with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants at Mitchell’s Ocean Club in Columbus, Ohio, in 2005, and worked his way up from associate to service manager.

Inspired by Mitchell’s Ocean Club, which Cameron Mitchell Restaurants opened in 2006 in Columbus, Ohio, Ocean Prime first opened in 2008 in Troy, Michigan The restaurant has since expanded to nine locations nationwide in Atlanta; Dallas; Denver.; Indianapolis; Orlando, Florida; Phoenix, Arizona; and Tampa. Future locations are planned to open in Philadelphia in summer 2013 and Houston, in fall 2014.
