With sharpened knives, a prepped kitchen, 140 taps of draught beer ready to pour, and original artwork lining the walls, Yard House, the award-winning restaurant renowned for its upscale-casual menu of American fusion fare and ever-evolving beer offerings, is set to debut its newest location at North Hills in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Sunday, October 14.

The new restaurant will open its doors at 11 a.m. offering lunch, dinner, and late-night dining daily. The Raleigh location will mark Yard House’s 41st restaurant across the country and its first restaurant in North Carolina.

“We are excited to introduce Yard House to North Carolina and embrace the Raleigh community,” says Harald Herrmann, president of Yard House Restaurants. “We feel that the bustling North Hills area will allow us to cater to businesses and residents alike and are eager to showcase our chef-driven, diverse menu offerings.”

The eclectic menu created by executive chef Carlito Jocson has received high praise from guests for its thoughtful pairing of classic dishes with globally inspired flavors.

Signature dishes will include Kung Pao Calamari, street tacos, (Mac+Cheese)2, and a new favorite, the Salted Caramel Butterscotch Pudding.

The menu will also feature Yard House’s new offerings with less than 600 calories from Smoked Gouda & Chicken and Pear & Gorgonzola flatbreads to the 5-ounce Grilled Burger and Mediterranean Seared Scallops.

A variety of gluten-sensitive and vegetarian dishes will also be available, including items prepared with gardein, a blend of garden vegetables and protein with the look and texture of beef and poultry.

In addition to the regular dinner menu, Yard House will offer a lunch menu with smaller dishes specially created for a workday lunch or afternoon bite.

Party platters will be available to go for office lunches and gatherings of friends and families. The party platter options will include select appetizers, sandwiches, salads, house favorites, and desserts.

Yard House is lauded for its unique beer system featuring a glass-enclosed keg room housing suds from many of the best local breweries and premium imports.

The brews are transported to the center island oval bar via an intricate network of tubing to reach an ample offering of 140 taps of beer. A handful of those taps are reserved for local breweries such as Foothills, Mother Earth, Greenman, Duck-Rabbit, Aviator, and Thomas Creek.

A Chalkboard Beer Series showcasing a selection of unique bottle offerings and five rotating drafts of small, limited releases from mostly craft brewers such as Crispin The Saint, Cottonwood Endo IPA, Southern Tier Bourbon Backburner, and Aviator Oktoberfest are displayed on a digital chalkboard allowing for frequent rotation and small batch releases to maintain a fresh and relevant selection.

A new crafted cocktails menu will feature well-balanced, signature libations including the “Old 43” and the “Bittersweet,” the restaurant’s twists on the classic Old Fashioned and Negroni. Yard House will also serve a Fresh & Skinny menu with a selection of cocktails containing less than 200 calories.

With an extensive food, beer, and cocktail menu, Yard House’s happy hour and late-night happy hour menus will allow guests to sample various pizzas, appetizers, and sliders for half price. The happy hour menu is served from 3–6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and late night is offered from 10 p.m.–close Sunday through Wednesday.

The Raleigh Yard House will seat more than 500 guests within the 10,415-square-foot dining room and bar.

The inviting, open floor plan features warm and welcoming interiors with a contrasting mix of woods and stainless steel accents featuring original artwork commissioned from renowned California artist Jerome Gastaldi. The open space will feature gallery-style lighting and an abundance of flat-screen televisions showcasing sporting and special events.

Yard House’s state-of-the-art sound system will complement the vibrant interior with an extensive library of classic rock music, easily adaptable to match the dynamics of the current guests.
