Xperience Restaurant Group announced its expansion into the Lone Star state with the acquisition of Texas-based Rio Mambo Tex Mex y Mas and THE RIM scratch craft eats from RM Restaurant Group. Known for concepts such as SOL Mexican Cocina, Solita Tacos & Margaritas, the iconic Las Brisas, and its longest running brand, El Torito, XRG is continuing to thoughtfully expand its national presence of best-in-class concepts following a successful 2022, during which it opened new locations in Long Beach, Irvine, Chicago, Anaheim, Las Vegas, and Orlando.

With locations in Fort Worth and Burleson, Texas, THE RIM scratch craft eats serves American retro food “with soul and a side of vibe.” Impressing guests with homestyle-inspired eats and Texas-sized entrees, the concept is characterized by an eclectic interior with an elevated homestyle fare. The restaurants are known for a selection of craft brews served in a hip sports environment. THE RIM scratch craft eats is committed to serving high-quality meats, produce, aged cheeses, and fresh herbs and spices.
All locations operate in upscale, mixed-use, or new urban developments, and feature fully remodeled, vibrant, contemporary build-outs.

The acquisition of Rio Mambo Tex Mex y Mas and THE RIM scratch craft eats will add six restaurant locations to XRG’s casual and fine dining culinary roster. In addition, XRG will continue its expansion to the east coast later this year with the opening of SOL Mexican Cocina locations in New York City and Boston. In addition to the six new locations acquired, XRG operates 68 restaurants throughout the United States, which includes its core and signature brands: El Torito, El Torito Grill, Chevys Fresh Mex, SOL Mexican Cocina, Solita Tacos & Margaritas, Acapulco, Las Brisas, Sinigual, and Who Song & Larry’s.
