World of Beer (WOB), a thriving beer-centric tavern boasting an extensive collection of brews from around the globe, expands into Colorado at Cherry Creek on March 13 at 660 South Colorado Blvd. in Denver. This is the 37th location, and first in Colorado, for the craft beer concept boasting more than 500 different, ever-changing bottles and 60 rotating taps.

A 1,500 square-foot patio complements the 2,850 square-foot free standing building. The location is part of a new development featuring Hilton Garden Inn and Marriott Residence Inn, and will soon be occupied by multiple restaurants.

"I feel honored to have been a part of World of Beer's growth from the very first franchise," says Jason Rappaport, World of Beer Cherry Creek Owner. "We're a big part of this craft beer revolution and it's exciting to move into Colorado where there are more breweries than anywhere in the nation."

Rappaport learned of the concept in 2008 when he spoke to the owner at the original World of Beer Westchase in Tampa, Fla., which is home to corporate headquarters. Rappaport and his partner Philippe Theodore own exclusive rights to World of Beer franchises in Tampa Bay, the greater Houston area, and the state of Colorado.

"Craft beer and Colorado go hand-in-hand," says Chris Hogrebe, director of operations for the World of Beer Franchise Group. "Opening a location here is humbling; we want to feature great craft beer and be a part of what great craft beer is already here."

WOB Cherry Creek will always support local breweries, some of which include Oskar Blues Brewery, Odell Brewing Company, Great Divide Brewing Company, Breckenridge Brewery, Boulder Beer Company, and Left Hand Brewing Company. There will also be two coolers featuring only Colorado beers.

The 'WOB Culture' is unlike any other. The specially trained staff has completed an extensive, two-week beer school, and are on-hand to guide customers through the World of Beer experience centered around a global menu of beverages, live music, and televised sports.

Guests enjoy live music every Thursday through Saturday. Weekly promotions include, Monday: Service Industry Night, Tuesday: Loyalty Night, Wednesday: WOB University Night and Thursday: Ladies' Night. Food will be available through delivery from local partnering restaurants.

WOB rewards its customers by offering a 'Loyalty Club Program' that enables them to earn points on trying different brews. Customers earn one point for every different beer purchased at WOB, gaining them access, appreciation and rewards. The program is available to all patrons.
