Wild Wing Cafe is helping its customers celebrate Valentine’s Day, or in this case, Anti-Valentine’s Day.

The 40-unit wing chain will be going a little wild by catering to both the broken-hearted and the newly smitten via a series of Anti-Valentine’s Day parties. Many locations will offer food and drink specials as well as fun Anti-Valentine’s Day entertainment, ranging from Breakup Song Karaoke to “Cupid is Stupid” Speed Dating.

An event microsite will allow customers to create a Mad-Lib style breakup letter or a love letter, as well as anti-Valentine’s Day e-cards that can be shared across a variety of social media channels.

Customers are also invited to share their funniest/saddest breakup stories on Facebook for a chance to win a romantic dinner on Valentine’s Day.

“We’ve heard some crazy stories,” says Ashley Coakley, VP of Marketing for Wild Wing Cafe. “But one thing’s for certain, nothing heals a broken heart like the hot wings, cold beer, and good times at Wild Wing Cafe.”

“It’s just another way we’re helping to make 2017 the wildest Valentine’s Day yet,” says Tom Lewison, CEO for Wild Wing Cafe.

Founded in 1990 in Hilton Head, South Carolina, Wild Wing Cafe began as a single restaurant featuring the homemade wild wing recipes of its two founders Cecil and Dianne Crowley. As the good times and great food grew in popularity within the Hilton Head community, the Crowleys expanded the brand, eventually offering franchise opportunities.

In 2012, Axum Capital Partners purchased the company, and today, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based Wild Wing Cafe operates 40 locations in eight states and is an unquestioned leader within its category in food quality, drinks (an extensive craft beer list) and its electrifying ambiance. Music is at the core of the brand’s personality, with nightly entertainment and regular band competitions.
