Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) announced today that it is accepting nominations for the sixth Jackie B. Trujillo Outstanding SOAR Award, sponsored by Yum! Brands.

This prestigious award, which stands for Standard-Setters for Opportunity, Advancement and Recognition of women, annually honors one foodservice company that is supremely dedicated to attracting, educating, and promoting women to the highest positions in the organization.

Past recipients include Darden, Kraft Foods, Sodexo, Coca-Cola, and PepsiCo.

“Applying for the SOAR award is an affirmation that your company is not only striving for, but succeeding in advancing women leaders,” says WFF President and CEO Fritzi Woods.

“This prestigious award is more meaningful than ever thanks to increased understanding that diversity is a driver of innovation and success.”

Eligible organizations must be a part of the foodservice industry and have at least 250 U.S.-based employees. Nominees will be evaluated on successful implementation of programs and initiatives that strive to give women full and equal opportunity for advancement. Organizations will also be judged on alignment of senior leadership behind the initiatives and the organization’s ability to produce verifiable results.
