Foodservice executives have the opportunity to begin a unique education program this November in Chicago.
The Executive Leadership Program, run by the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) in partnership with Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, gives participants the opportunity to build the skills necessary to successfully lead organizations while building strategic connections with industry peers.
The program is unique to the foodservice industry and also provides alumni with a career coach to fully integrate what they learn into their careers.
“The experience on campus was incredible,” says Jana Brown, ARAMARK senior director, training and development. “We have top-notch professors who are speaking to us not only from an educational standpoint,t but from a business standpoint. They’ve all been in the business, in the industry, in some facet or another.”
Leading foodservice organizations that have, or are currently, participated in the program include PepsiCo, ARAMARK, The Coca-Cola Company, Dominos, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Sodexo, SYSCO, Ventura Foods, and many more.

The Executive Leadership Program includes four intensive sessions to be completed over 24 months. The recommended first session is at the Kellogg Campus in Chicago, November 7–8.
Courses are taught by Northwestern University faculty and are tailored specifically for the foodservice industry. The lead instructor for the November session is Victoria Medvec, professor of management & organizations and executive director of the Center for Executive Women at the Kellogg School of Management.
Content covered includes strategic thinking, team building, crisis management, and decision making for executives.
