Walk-On’s Lands in Tennessee with Knoxville Opening

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is set to bring the Taste of Louisiana to Tennessee when it opens in Knoxville on Tuesday, September 29.

Located at 7621 Kingston Pike, Knoxville’s first Walk-On’s will kick off its grand opening celebration with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m. Guests should consider arriving early because the first 20 customers will receive a limited-edition t-shirt and mini football autographed by New Orleans Saints superstar and Walk-On’s Co-Owner Drew Brees. To add to the excitement, guests can enter a drawing for the chance to win free Walk-On’s for a year. Walk-On’s Knoxville will accept entries during its first full month of business and will announce the winner the week of Oct. 19.

“We are honored and excited to bring Walk-On’s to Tennessee, and we can’t wait to become an integral part of the Knoxville community,” says Jason Gisclair, president of DBMC Restaurants, LLC, a proud Walk-On’s franchisee. “The new restaurant is in a great location, across from West Town Mall, and we are thrilled to be able to add 250 great jobs to the local economy. Our incredible All-American Team will join us in introducing this one-of-a-kind brand to everyone in the area. Walk-On’s signature Cajun cuisine served in a family-friendly atmosphere is unlike anything else in Knoxville, so we know it’s going to be a very welcome addition to the dining and entertainment landscape in the area. We look forward to celebrating with everyone next week.”

Walk-On’s is renowned for its signature Louisiana-inspired menu served up in a family-friendly, game-day atmosphere by an All-American Team. When the new 7,500-square-foot restaurant opens, it will be the first Walk-On’s in Tennessee and 44th system-wide.

Knoxville’s new Walk-On’s will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.

The safety and well-being of its guests and team members is and always will be a top priority for Walk-On’s. In addition to adhering to all federal, state and local guidelines, Walk-On’s has implemented enhanced sanitation standards and processes.
