W Miami announced the appointment of Gonzalo Maggi Bescos as the new general manager of the hotel. Gonzalo Maggi Bescos brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position, having worked in the luxury hospitality industry for over 20 years in leadership roles across multiple continents, companies, and Marriott International brands.

As General Manager, Maggi will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, including guest services, booking, budgeting, food and beverage, and more. His innovative ideas and commitment to excellence are sure to enhance the guest experience and drive continued success for the hotel. He joins W Miami from Aloft Madrid Gran Via, where he achieved exceptional results and set the hotel up for future success with a 280-room expansion well underway. Maggi has also worked for reputable hospitality brands including Le Méridien, Marriott Vacation Club, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and Radisson Hotels.
