Villa Enterprises Management Ltd. Inc.’s full-service restaurant division, 40North, announces the opening of two new restaurants, Steelworks Buffet & Grill and Croissanterie, at Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The grand openings mark eight Villa Enterprises restaurant concepts at the casino and entertainment destination.
“We’ve created these unique concepts based on market demand to deliver delicious, fresh meals and expanded dining options to guests,” says Villa Enterprise’s CEO Anthony Scotto. “The food court has been extremely well-received and we are thrilled to grow our relationship with Sands Casino.”
In 2009, Villa Enterprises opened The Market Gourmet Express food court at Sands Casino, which has seen a substantial increase in sales through the execution of six independent brands, including Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf’s, South Philly Steaks & Fries, The Market, Casa Java, Bananas, Far East, and Mo Burger.
Designed by Jacksoncreative group of Rhode Island, Steelworks Buffet & Grill incorporates a range of materials, colors, and steel-making themed murals that pay homage to the heritage of steel in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in an energetic setting. Featuring live action cooking and a fully-stocked bar, guests will enjoy a variety of fresh international culinary dishes at the all-you-can-eat buffet or choose their favorites from the a la carte menu, including artisan pizza, a pasta station, sushi, fresh-carved meats, and more.
The Croissanterie, inspired by a small neighborhood in the French countryside, features weathered wood, sand stone tiles, and white marble creating a warm and comfortable dining environment. Diners will experience the rich flavors and aromas of freshly ground, slow-drip coffee brewed by the cup, and filled to order croissants, baguettes and more.

With the opening of the Steelworks Buffet & Grill and Croissanterie, Villa anticipates the creation of more than 150 new jobs, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the community.
The Sands project continues the fulfillment of Villa Enterprises’ strategic growth initiative focused on multi-unit opportunities and creation of unique concepts within casinos, malls, outlet centers, and airports both domestically and internationally.
