Restaurant and food discovery app Urbanspoon announced the integration of Chefs Feed, the ultimate resource for chefs' opinions on where to eat and what to order.

Chefs Feed recommendations, with reviews from well-known chefs such as Daniel Boulud and Eric Ripert, will be incorporated in Urbanspoon's recently released Popular Dishes feature, highlighting recommendations for the best reviewed restaurant dishes to help Urbanspoon's 30 million monthly diners uncover the best food each city has to offer.

"Urbanspoon is focused on transforming the way consumers decide where and what to eat at restaurants," says Keela Robison, CEO of Urbanspoon. "When we ask our customers, 80 percent say that they're interested in seeing dish recommendations when they're in a restaurant. Partnering with Chefs Feed was a natural extension of our product, allowing us to recommend dishes that have earned the praise of the most discerning and trusted foodie audience of all—the chefs themselves."

Urbanspoon recently rolled out the Popular Dishes feature as part of its ongoing focus on the specific needs that come up for diners once they are in the restaurant.

Dish recommendations are derived from hundreds of thousands of reviews to determine which dishes diners loved. Now, customers can more easily figure out what to order when faced with a menu by seeing these customer-generated recommendations, complemented by expert suggestions from Chefs Feed.

"We're thrilled to partner with Urbanspoon as they've done an amazing job of cultivating a highly engaged audience of food lovers," says Jared Rivera, founder of Chefs Feed. "By providing access to credible reviews from nearly one thousand of the nation's best chefs, Urbanspoon users can now make decisions on what to order based on feedback from both their peers and the top experts in the culinary field."
