Stoneham, Massachusetts, residents have a fresh new option for casual, high-quality dining as UNO fresco Stoneham opens June 4, 2014, at the Redstone Shopping Center on Main Street.
UNO fresco is the first location of a new eatery concept from UNO Restaurant Holdings Corporation. Ideal for guests looking for an affordable lunch or dinner experience in a modern casual environment, UNO fresco’s made-to-order meals are professionally prepared using premium ingredients. Opening at 11 a.m. on June 4, the restaurant will offer the first 100 customers in line a free individual pizza.
“UNO fresco offers busy families and working folks on the go a place to enjoy a custom-made meal, prepared to order with fresh ingredients, served in a relaxed atmosphere, with the same quality hospitality and service that you’ll find in our UNO Pizzeria and Grill restaurants,” says Chris Westcott, vice president of UNO fresco. “As Stoneham’s new fresh casual eatery, we’re offering a menu that is always right for the moment, whether that is for dinner, lunch, catering, or a quick bite on the go, at an incredible value.”
UNO fresco Stoneham offers a come-as-you-are environment where guests can build their own meal for lunch, dinner, or anytime in between, choosing from UNO’s signature pizzas, artisanal flatbreads, fresh crafted salads, distinct entrées, and more, handmade daily.
Guests customize their order to their liking, pay at the counter, and are handed a numbered wooden pizza peel to place on their selected table. Meals are delivered right to the table by guest service coordinators with no tipping required. Guests can gather inside with their friends or family in one of many spacious booths, sit side-by-side at the pizza bar, or dine on the outside patio.
UNO fresco offers a takeout menu and online ordering for pick-up-and-go convenience.
UNO fresco’s menu features UNO’s signature dish, the Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, with the same quality craftsmanship and care extending to UNO fresco’s entire menu of fresh, affordable fare. Its handmade deep dish and thin crust pizzas, all prepared to order, are available with a variety of delicious toppings in individual and shared sizes. Guests can choose from a menu of 19 handmade pizzas, from the classic Margherita deep dish to the Prosciutto, Fig & Arugula thin crust. Guests can also create personally customized salads with a choice of five crisp greens and eight robust proteins, including Fresh Mozzarella, Herb Roasted Salmon, and Tofu with unlimited toppings and dressings from the salad bar. Or, guests can try a hearty chef-designed salad, all served with fresh-baked ciabatta.
Soups, grilled panini, fork n’ knife sandwiches, entrees, pastas, quick bites, and desserts will be served with care at UNO fresco. Kids 12 and under will enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage of their choice to complement any item off the fresco kids menu that includes UNO’s signature deep dish cheese pizza to the classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Gluten-free dough and breads are available. UNO fresco guests also have a choice of beverages including a selection of beer and wine on tap. Craft beers will be available, and the selection includes a rotation of locally produced beers.
