Unified Brands, a leading manufacturer of foodservice equipment, has released new electronic controls for its Groen braising pans and steam jacketed kettles to help operators reduce food and labor costs and produce better quality food.

“Groen braising pans and steam jacketed kettles are already known for excellent temperature control,” says Clay Thames, Product Line Director—Cooking for Unified Brands. “Our new Classic and Advanced controls allow operators to achieve even more precise temperatures for maximum cooking performance.”

The new Groen Classic and Advanced electronic controls for kettles and braising pans provide these additional benefits:

Better food quality: The Advanced electronic controls have a digital timer and temperature pre-sets that allow operators to deliver consistent, repeatable results from chef to chef and shift to shift.

Less waste: Operators with various skill levels or experience will be able to control time and temperature more precisely, resulting in less to no overcooking and undercooking.

Lower service and repair costs: The IPX6 water-resistant control panel provides greater reliability to minimize repair bills and other costs of downtime associated with improper or minimal cleaning of equipment at the end of shifts.
