Tuscan Brands’ founder and Chief Food Taster Joe Faro has forged a new partnership between the newly-opened Tuscan Kitchen Seaport and the Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club to raise money for college scholarships this holiday season.

Faro has partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs in Lawrence, Woburn and Salem, N.H., for several years through his restaurants in Burlington, Salem, N.H. and Portsmouth, N.H., and will extend that tradition by pledging support to the Club in South Boston through the new Seaport location. As part of Tuscan Brands’ holiday scholarship drive, 10 percent of gift card sales will be donated to fund scholarships at each Boys & Girls Club.

“Tuscan Brands is a passionate supporter of Boys & Girls Clubs and is committed to giving back to help support our children,” Faro says. “With our new location in Boston’s Seaport, we are eager to help our new neighbors and look forward to helping kids at the Club in South Boston follow their dreams.”

“We thank Tuscan Brands and Joe Faro for their pledge of support and look forward to this new partnership that will directly benefit the children of South Boston,” says Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston Nicholas President and CEO Josh Kraft. “Mr. Faro and his team have been strong supporters of the Clubs in other cities and towns and we look forward to that same support here in Boston.”

In addition to the scholarship drive, Faro has hosted toy and turkey giveaways at the Boys & Girls Clubs, and offers a Junior Chef program which includes free summer cooking classes for kids at his restaurants.
