Tulkoff Food Products introduced Extra Bold Horseradish Sauce, the spiciest combination of fresh horseradish and mayonnaise the brand has ever made.
The Baltimore-based manufacturer describes the sauce as “extra bold,” by developing it with 35 percent more horseradish than their ever popular Tiger Horseradish Sauce and answering a response to customers request for spicier food and condiment offerings.
“Our customers have spoken, and simply put, they want spicier sauce options from us,” says Phil Tulkoff, president of Tulkoff Food Products. “This sauce can be used across multiple menu offerings and dayparts as a mayonnaise replacement for items that need a kick. For foodservice operators looking for that intense horseradish heat that knocks their heads back, this is their product.”
The Extra Bold Horseradish Sauce will also be introducing the company’s on-package branding for gluten-free.
“Offering gluten-free products is a big initiative for us in 2015. When it comes to this allergen we want to do our best to keep things simple and straight to the point on our packaging,” he says.
Tulkoff’s squeeze bottle line currently consists of Spicy Chipotle Chili Aioli, Creamy Horseradish Sauce & Extra Bold Cocktail Sauce. BPA free, recyclable, foil sealed, and featuring bottoms-up storage, the squeeze bottle format provides convenience for grab and go foodservice operators looking for easy-to-use packaging and flavor.
All squeeze bottle products are available now and are sold in an eight count sealed tray pack for retailers, convenience stores and foodservice distributors.
Extra Bold Horseradish Sauce will be featured as a new product at the 2015 National Restaurant Association Show held in Chicago May 16-19.
