Tony Napoletana Ranks as Fourth-Best Pizzeria in the U.S.

Renowned pizzaiolo and esteemed restaurateur, Tony Gemignani, announced his flagship San Francisco restaurant Tony's Pizza Napoletana ranked 4th on the 50 Best Pizzerias in the USA by 50 TOP PIZZA at last night’s award ceremony in New York City, and his Las Vegas venture Pizza Rock took home 18th. The dual awards made Gemignani the first-ever pizzaiolo with two pizzerias on the USA ranking list, earning him a third recognition – Performance of the Year – to mark the historic occasion.  

To celebrate the prestigious accolades, Gemignani collaborated with acclaimed artist Jeremy Fish, long-time North Beach local and curator of The Fish Tank Gallery, to design a t-shirt and tote bag featuring a pizza-twist on the classic ‘I “heart” NY’ design. Skillfully crafted by Fish, the design pays homage to the vibrant city of San Francisco, the closely-knit community of North Beach, and Tony’s exciting winnings. The limited-edition items will be exclusively gifted to Tony’s Pizza Napoletana’s first 25 guests at noon and the first 25 guests at 5pm – a total of 50 per day in honor of being in the top 50 pizzerias, starting Thursday, June 29th through Monday, July 3.
