The Toasted Yolk, a full-service eatery featuring breakfast, lunch and brunch favorites, opens its newest restaurant on Monday, April 10 in Elizabethtown, KY. It is the first Toasted Yolk location in the state of Kentucky.

The new restaurant is located at 1507 N. Dixie Ave. in the new Lincoln Center shopping area. The building will feature indoor and outdoor seating, including a patio that seats 50 people. The café will be open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Toasted Yolk serves its unique breakfast and lunch specialties, as well as its boozy brunch cocktails that can be enjoyed at the full-sized bar or on the patio. The menus offer meals that can be savored throughout the day, allowing diners to enjoy egg specialties and coffee in the morning, boozy cocktails and savory pancakes at brunch, and a variety of delicious salads, sandwiches and soups during lunchtime.

The new restaurant will be owned by Chris and Dee Heck. The Breckinridge County residents have worked together as real estate agents for the past six years at an office based in Elizabethtown. The couple has been interested in bringing the first brunch restaurant concept to Elizabethtown to meet the recent growth of the area.

“We were looking at several brunch restaurants and when we visited the Toasted Yolk for the first time, it only took a few minutes of seeing the concept and tasting the food that we knew it would be perfect for Elizabethtown,” says Dee Heck. “The Toasted Yolk is a fun restaurant with a lot of delicious made from scratch items. We will have a friendly staff that will offer top-notch customer service.”

Ten percent of the sales from the opening day on Monday, April 10 will go toward Mission Hope for Kids, a local organization dedicated to helping at-risk children by providing them with educational, emotional, physical and spiritual support. On the date of the opening, the restaurant will raffle off a chance for customers to win free breakfast or lunch (one meal per week) for a year and will give away complimentary donuts while supplies last.

“We are thrilled to bring our first Toasted Yolk restaurant to the state of Kentucky with the newest location in Elizabethtown,” says Toasted Yolk Co-Founder Chris Milton. “Chris and Dee Heck have been persistent in their dedication in bringing the new restaurant to the area. Customers will love our wide selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch options with a fun atmosphere.”
