On Sunday, April 30, world-renowned tiki bar Three Dots and a Dash in Chicago will host a cocktail takeover event with Dirty Dick from Paris and Trick Dog from San Francisco. The teams from the wildly popular neo-tiki bar and the acclaimed James Beard Award-nominated cocktail lounge, respectively, will join Beverage Director Julian Cox for a very rare appearance in Chicago to celebrate the James Beard Foundation Awards.
From 5—8 p.m., guests will be treated to exclusive creations from masters of tiki Julian Cox, who will be previewing several cocktails that will appear on the new Three Dots menu the following week; Scott Shruder, who founded Dirty Dick and OFTD Plantation Rum; and the Bon Vivants team behind Trick Dog, who will be promoting their latest endeavor - the Trick Dog Mural Project. The book, which doubles as their cocktail menu, will be on sale at the event, with proceeds going to two non-profits in San Francisco.
The limited-time-only menu will be available on Sunday, April 30 and Monday, May 1, from 5—8 p.m. This event is free to attend and open to the public. Three Dots and a Dash is located at 435 N. Clark.
