Three of Tavistock’s restaurants, Atlantic Fish Co., Abe & Louie’s, and Joe’s American Bar & Grill, located in the Northeast area of Boston’s Back Bay, have been closed in response to the explosions which occurred at the finish line of the Boston marathon. One of the explosions occurred approximately two doors east of Atlantic Fish Co. on Boylston Street.

Currently, there are no reports of injury to employees or guests at any of the restaurants. All employees and guests have been evacuated from Abe & Louie’s, Atlantic Fish, and Joe’s Newbury restaurants.

“The safety of our employees and guests is our highest priority at this time,” says Tavistock Restaurants CEO Bryan Lockwood. “We are awaiting additional information and details on the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have been affected by this tragedy.”
