Thos. Moser Contract announced its Pacific Stool, part of the Pacific Collection, won the Seating Individual-Dining Seating category at this year’s annual IIDA/HD Product Design Competition. Each year the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), in partnership with Hospitality Design (HD) magazine, facilitates the competition to honor innovation, functionality and aesthetic advancements in product design among those debuting on the show floor at the Hospitality Design Exposition & Conference (HD Expo) in Las Vegas.
Throughout the competition’s seven categories, which include Textiles, Lighting and Seating among others, product winners were selected based on technical advancements, cost efficiency, environmental consciousness, aesthetics, client-user benefits and need, and usage in the hospitality industry. This year’s IIDA member judging panel included: Susana Covarrubias, Gensler, Seattle; Patricia Rotondo, Chipman Design Architecture, Chicago; and Adam Stover, POPULOUS, Kansas City.
