While it’s always easy to find fun brewing at Taco Mac, staff and guests raise the bar to new heights when the leader in craft beer is raising funds for Camp Twin Lakes. The iconic restaurant brand has given close to $750,000 to the camp over the last 20 years and continued the efforts this April with its Can Jam promotion.

Throughout the month, Taco Mac’s participating Georgia locations featured canned favorites from brewers such as Samuel Adams, SweetWater Brewing Company, Creature Comforts and more. Guests were also invited to purchase a paper beer can to sign and display on the wall for a $1, $5 or $10 donation to Camp Twin Lakes, a Georgia-based charity that provides life-changing camp experiences for children with serious illnesses, disabilities and other challenges. When all the cans were tallied, Taco Mac was able to donate $8,056 from this year’s Can Jam.

“We are so appreciative of our restaurant teams that promote our fundraising events and guests who are eager to participate and help a worthy cause,” says Harold Martin, Jr., owner and CEO of Taco Mac. “Over the past two decades, their charitable spirit has helped us provide week-long therapeutic camping experiences at Camp Twin Lakes. We can all raise a can to toast that!”

Camp Twin Lakes has powered fully adaptive, medically supportive and transformative camp experiences for 26 years. Camp Twin Lakes creates customized, intentional programming that teaches campers to overcome obstacles, grow in their confidence and capabilities and experience the joys of childhood.

“We are incredibly grateful for Taco Mac’s generous support over many years and are excited to know how many camper lives have been changed as a result,” says Jill Morrisey, CEO of Camp Twin Lakes. “We look forward to deepening our partnership with Taco Mac and creating an even more significant impact for campers all year long, beyond the summer camp experience.”
