“We are pleased to announce the opening of our new Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill in University Place, Chapel Hill’s premier retail center,” Stout says. “Stoney River is a neighborhood steakhouse and grill with a solid commitment to provide our guests the finest culinary experience that exceeds their expectations.”
Stout said that Stoney River guests enjoy such offerings as a coffee-cured filet, bone-in rib eye and classic New York strip steak, as well as house specialties ranging from signature steak and biscuits to chicken, shrimp, sea bass and salmon.
“Our Stoney River menu is significantly broader than offered in most steakhouses,” Stout says. “We place an emphasis on our hand-cut steaks while, at the same time, serving exceptional creative fare that includes seafood and other featured entrees from our menu. The highest quality food is served by an extensively trained professional staff in a warm, rich and relaxed setting.”
The full-service bar at the new Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill at University Place features hand-crafted cocktails and an award-winning wine list with over 30 varietals of wine by the glass and more than 120 bottles of wine.
