Staff Shifts Follow as Provider Combines Two Brands


Food industry provider San Jamar-Chef Revival (SJCR) announced a number of staff moves related to company restructuring to combine the company’s two brands.

Industry veteran David Anastasi joined the company as director of national distribution accounts. Anastasi has more than 20 years of experience in the foodservice industry. His breadth of experience includes working as a foodservice operator, as a dealer, and as an independent sales representative, as well as work in business development for a major manufacturer.

Moving from consultant into a full-time role with SJCR is Kim de la Villefromoy. Chef de la Villefromoy takes the position of senior director of market development. de la Villefromoy, a cofounder of Chef Revival, spent 17 years building Chef Revival into one of the top apparel names among chefs today. de la Villefromoy will be making the move from his native country of Australia to SJCR’s headquarters in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, in September.

Three other significant role changes within the Foodservice U.S. business were also announced. David Maroun’s role as vice president of business development has been expanded to include commercial dealers and distributors in the U.S. Maroun has been instrumental in building the San Jamar-Chef Revival business internationally, and has had great success working with paper companies.

John Reiff was promoted to director of market development for institutional and culinary. Chef Reiff joined San Jamar’s Business Development Team in 2002, and since has made great strides building close relationships with end users, distributors, and reps. His background as a certified executive chef gives Reiff a special skill set to bring to his new position.

Debbie Kau was promoted to director of market development for chains and process-led kitchens. Kau has been an integral part of San Jamar since 1998, creating strong chain relationships. Her background includes significant successes working for a major beverage company as channel manager for educational institutions.
