Southern Hospitality Development Corporation, a developer of southern, Memphis-style barbeque restaurants, announced the planned January 2013 opening of its Southern Hospitality Restaurant & Bar in downtown Denver.
Construction continues on Southern Hospitality's Restaurant & Bar in the heart of the historic LoDo (Lower Downtown) section of Denver. Located just three blocks from Coor's Field in the celebrated St. Elmo Hotel on the corner of 17th and Blake, Southern Hospitality is bringing southern style menu items, great music, service and hospitality to Denver at a whole new level.
"Our expansion into downtown Denver is an important milestone for Southern Hospitality," says CEO Steve Cominsky. "The Southern Hospitality concept is one we believe will resonate well here, LoDo is certain to be a great market for us."
Featuring a menu that's a classic collection of Southern favorites, barbeque, and the pub fare one would expect from a local Memphis neighborhood restaurant, the company expects the LoDo restaurant to be the first of 10 slated for development in key markets across the U.S. in the next three to five years.
