Smith & Wollensky Offers New 'Wine+Wagyu' Experience

This holiday season, Smith & Wollensky is offering a very special American Wine and Wagyu event featuring Snake River Farms American Wagyu and five world-class Napa Valley wines, available by the glass (or bottle) at very special pricing. Focusing on California’s Napa Valley region, National Beverage Director Christian Gianaris identified a range of premium selections due to how they pair perfectly with Smith & Wollensky’s signature Snake River Farms’ Wagyu cuts, such as the Swinging Tomahawk Ribeye or Wagyu Porterhouse For Two. 

“With Napa Valley being one of the most renowned wine regions in the world, we focused on that region to choose five premium wines that perfectly complement Smith & Wollensky’s selection of Snake River Farms American Wagyu. These are very special wines that wouldn’t typically be offered by the glass and I know that our guests, looking for an elevated dining experience, are going to love these pairings,” says Christian Gianaris, National Beverage Director of Smith and Wollensky.

The five hand-selected wines are:

  • 2015 Heitz Trailside Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, $65/glass
  • 2016/2017 Paul Hobbs Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, $55/glass
  • 2019 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, $35/glass
  • 2017 Darioush Shiraz, $45/glass
  • 2017 Groth Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, $25/glass
