Anthony’s Restaurants celebrates its West Coast oysters in ways only a local restaurant could with its Oyster Festival.

This month, featured fresh oysters carefully selected from cold, clean Pacific waters tempt, whether on the half shell, seared well, baked, fried, and even wine-paired!

Those who like it raw will fawn over the Northwest selections served on the half shell: Olympia, Washington's only native oyster from South Puget Sound; Virginica, Kusshi; and a daily selection of assorted Pacific oysters.

Throughout the month, oyster lovers can enjoy a perfectly paired bottle of“Oyster Wine”at half price when ordered with oysters.

Featured wines include Hogue Cellars 2010 Pinot Grigio, set to compliment any oyster preparation perfectly; Chateau Ste. Michelle’s 2010 Sauvignon Blanc; and the Hedges Family Estate 2010 CMS Sauvignon Blanc, the perfect companion to the briny flavor of the oysters.

Lunch ($8.95-$14.95) and dinner ($17.95-$26.95) bring oyster classics and surprises.

At lunch, try the Oyster Tacos, crispy seared oysters finished with salsa mayo, cabbage and roasted corn salsa wrapped in warm Sante Fe tortillas, or the Oyster Burger finished with lettuce, crisp bacon and tomato, served with French fries. Top oysters on a traditional Caesar for a fabulous salad.

At dinner, enjoy Crispy Seared or Pan Fried Oysters along with additional delicious oyster selections!

Oyster Happy Hour available all day in the bar, including $5 oyster specials (Six Pack Shot Glass Oyster Shooters, Oyster Slider Trio, and Trio of Baked Oysters) and $5 glasses of featured Oyster Wines.

Are you a slurp-o-matic? Flex those skills during Friday Night Oyster Slurp, 6 p.m. in the lounge. Each Friday in March, slurp a dozen freshly shucked oysters, hands-free!
