Lawry’s The Prime Rib, in Chicago, and sister restaurant SideDoor announced J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines as the October partner in SideDoors’ monthly dinner series. On October 25 at 7 p.m., foodies and wine aficionados can enjoy pours of four various J. Lohr wines, guided by Steve Lohr, CEO of the family-owned vineyard, alongside four courses prepared by Executive Chef Steve Goellner.

Dinner courses include a Scallop Crudo with orange, pistachio, mint, and chili thread; Pear Salad with beets, micro basil, goat cheese, and candied pecans; Short Rib with root vegetables, EVOO mashed potatoes, and demi-glace; ending with a Chocolate Hazelnut Brittle with blackberries.

Tickets are $85 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, and include four courses with J. Lohr wine pairings.

Additionally, Lawry’s The Prime Rib and SideDoor proudly partner with J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation throughout October. J. Lohr donates $2 from the sale of each bottle of Carol’s Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, and $3 from the sale of each bottle of Carol’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. The restaurant also supports the Lynn Sage Foundation, donating $1 from the sale of each J. Lohr bottle purchased.

SideDoor is an American-style gastropub housed in the former McCormick Mansion adjacent to Lawry’s The Prime Rib. Executive Chef Steve Goellner serves playful versions of the classic fare at Lawry’s in a casual setting.
