Within 30 days of debuting a fully automated gift card program on the DataCandy platform, Shakespeare and Co. Restaurant sold a record breaking 1,600 gift cards exceeding all launch projections. The Dubai-based restaurant confirmed that 800 gift card sales were completed in the first 10 days of introducing the new program.
In addition to increased revenue, the gift card program has positively impacted day-to-day business for Shakespeare and Co. The restaurant has experienced a notable rise in foot traffic and repeat visits, which management attributes to gift card users spending their card balance over multiple visits. The back-office reports within the DataCandy Gift Card Program have also enabled franchisees to clearly link new promotions to the purchase of gift cards.
