After 21 years in business, Scotty’s Brewhouse is unveiling a cleaner and more contemporary brand identity, a new menu, and giving away free dill chips to their guests on October 17.

“When you turn 21, the tradition is to celebrate. We want our guests to join us next Tuesday as we introduce our new branding and new menu,” says Chris Martin, Brand President of Scotty’s Brewhouse. “What better way to commemorate this occasion than with free dill chips for every table.”

Scotty’s Support Team, based in Indianapolis, worked for a year to complete the brand revamp. The updated branding includes a new logo, featuring contemporary barley pillars that represent the company’s six core values, a new primary color palette and a clearly defined mission statement.

“This rebranding project was extremely challenging yet also lots of fun,” says Bruce McClain, Director of Marketing. “The team members involved had attended Ball State, Purdue, Butler or IU, so they have grown up with the Scotty’s Brand. This personal connection brought special meaning to the project for all of us. We believe this evolution has a more clearly defined look and strategy that illustrates who we are as a company.”

In addition to the branding changes, Scotty’s has refined their menu and is introducing innovative crafted burgers; tasty, shareable appetizers and mouthwatering entrees. The “always favorites” like dill chips, wings and the award winning Shewman Special Burger are still featured as an integral part of the menu.

“We wanted to offer new craveable food options for this menu, but also keeping the main items that guests have enjoyed for years,” says Mark Sontag, Director of Food & Beverage. “We have added a fantastic entrée section and some unique specialty items that we believe will become favorites in all of our current and future locations nationwide.”

New menu items include Bourbon Glazed Baby Back Ribs, Nashville Hot Chicken, Marker’s Mark Bourbon BBQ Chicken, Red, White and Blueberry BBQ Burger, and an Asian Sesame Salmon Salad. Scotty’s also expanded their lunch menu and added some new items to their appetizers/shareables section, like White Cheddar Cheese Pints.

“We are very excited and pleased to present our new branding and menu to the public next Tuesday,” says Martin. “These two projects represent months of hard and creative work by our team.  We believe both position us well as we continue to expand the number of Scotty’s restaurants over the next several years.”
